Mondays can sometimes be difficult, but electronica musician Darren Ashley tries to contribute some of his musical talent to alleviate the dread of starting a new work/school week by releasing choons in a recurring segment called Monday Juice. The last of this activity was in the instrumental, sweet-tempered track ‘Goodnight‘ released in March of last year. In very appropriate, sequential fashion, everyone can begin the year with single ‘Good Morning’. It has a largely oriental slant with the pervasive presence of the Chinese two-stringed instrument — the Erhu — though it does not detract away from the eventual big drops in this dance pop number.
