If you’re into r’n’b and immersing yourself in feelings, we can recommend checking out Singaporean singer-songwriter Joel Tan’s — better known by his stage name Gentle Bones — show at The Bee, Publika next weekend. If you’re a fan of Joel’s, chances are you’ve already scrolled passed this section and went straight to the part about winning tickets, but if you haven’t heard of him before, here’s what you need to know:

Joel started his musical journey when he was 16 years old. Now at 23, he’s performed two sold out shows at Singapore’s Esplanade Concert Hall, was listed as iTunes Singapore’s Best New Artist, a nominee for MTV Europe Music Award‘s Best Southeast Asia Act in 2016, and is currently the only Singaporean artiste to have made the cut on Forbes Asia’s ‘30 Under 30’ list. If those awards and milestones aren’t enough to pull you in, perhaps his similarities to Majid Jordan, Chet Faker, and The Weeknd might intrigue you.
