Daaliah (real name Wilton, sorry guys) is a 19-year-old producer from Kuala Lumpur whom we’ve only previously heard through Mecke’s ‘Got You’, but he’s been low-key productive for the past few months with a steady stream of remixes and originals. Most recently, the now Berlin-based beatmaker has just dropped ‘V a g u e’, a track that brings the oft-interpolated vocal refrain of Manu Dibango’s ‘Soul Makossa’ (here lifted from Michael Jackson’s own interpolation of it off ‘Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’’) into the modern day with a Soulection-esque future bass take on it.
