‘Verdez Olivia’ means olive stem in Hebrew, which the founders interpreted as having hope. It complemented their beliefs of life being a learning process despite the trillion of obstacles individuals have to go through in one lifetime — this is not a message out of a Hallmark card, the relation between its vision and products will become clear soon — which then translates to its vision; hoping clients will live by the same principles through owning its products. The brand hopes to achieve this by creating practical items, and seeing as how Verdez Olivia has been around for three and a half years, it must be doing its job well — it produces a variety of accessories ranging from pouches, wallets, folders, and purses in cork or PU leather material. Custom orders are welcomed, however, it needs to be a minimum of 100 pieces per design; the price range is from RM40 to RM120, which isn’t extravagant considering the manpower used to create each piece. It operates online mostly but for those curious to feel the material or check its durability, Verdez Olivia’s products are stocked at Shepherd Star Cafe in Kuchai Lama.
