It’s been 65 years since the first ever Peanuts four-panel comic strip by Charles M Schulz was published, and even though his strips have been mere reruns from 2000 onwards, Snoopy and his gang remain dear to the hearts of many both young and old.
From Sunday comic strips, to television films, to stage musicals, this Fall season, the cast of Peanuts will be in every step you take (and some say, even in every move you make), with its Vault by Vans capsule collection.
This collection reissues two vintage prints created for the Peanuts crew in 1983, which commemorated the opening of Camp Snoopy in Knott’s Berry Farm. Once sold exclusively at the Southern California amusement park, is now available worldwide in the Vans OG Classics assortment with nostalgic colourways – peaches & cream, classic white, blue turquoise and lavender aura – of the OG Authentic LX, and a solo take on the OG Sk8-Hi LX. Besides that, Snoopy’s alter ego, Joe Cool, is featured in a collage arrangement across dual colour-ups for the OG Era LX and the OG Sk8-Hi LX.
