The number of hours a group of friends would spend at a McDonald’s outlet binge eating french fries — while discussing everything from fictional characters being killed off in a television series to more personal issues — probably accumulate to more hours than the time therapists spend with their patients. Makes sense then that Vans used the strong bond between people and fast food as the inspiration behind the ‘Late Night’ pack; three of its Authentic silhouettes now feature hamburgers, french fries, and taco prints while the Classic Slip-On takes on slices of pepperoni pizza. But the food train doesn’t stop there, it also passes by Sweet Tooth station. There are prints of rainbow macaroons, cupcakes, and sprinkled topped donuts on Vans’ Authentic pair. We’re not sure how wise it would be to own a pair from this pack if you’re prone to have cravings for fast food on a daily basis… But shoes with food printed on them haven’t killed anybody, right? This post was difficult to write on an empty stomach. That is all.
The Vans ‘Late Night’ Pack will be available at Vans Mid Valley, Vans Pavilion, Vans One Utama, Vans Sunway Pyramid, Vans IOI City Mall (new), and Vans City Square Mall, Johor (new) beginning this February. Prices for the collection retails from RM139 to RM259. More from VANS Malaysia here.
