If we had the financial means to revamp the aesthetics of our wardrobes whenever we please, we’d do it faster than Mary Poppins could finish saying ‘supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’. But until we’re paid enough to shop without looking at price tags, we’re going to have to make do with what we have (and maybe treat ourselves to one new item each month – hey, that’s moderation, right?).
The core of Topman’s New Rules campaign is to present 5 style commandments for men to follow without them having to burn a hole in their pockets by overhauling their entire collection of clothes. It’s useful style suggestions to help men make the most of their garments; there’s a play on layers, combining sportswear with formal apparels, and using denim on denim.

To celebrate the launch of the New Rules campaign, Topman is offering its followers a chance to win RM1000 worth of clothing. The mechanics are simple; all you need to do is show Topman your take on any of the New Rules it’s just introduced (Layer Game, Tuck It In, Keep On Track, etc.) by posting an OOTD on Instagram.
