Stella McCartney’s AW09 Fauntasy
It really isn’t a surprise that Stella McCartney would feature Bambi and friends in her latest Fall 09 collection ad campaign. A vegetarian like her late mother Linda McCartney, she also refuses to use fur and leather in all of her collections as she is a staunch PETA supporter. We like!
Together with model Sigrid Agren, the ad was shot by Ryan McGinley in Worcestershire, England and Bambi and co. were added digitally later on. Stella McCartney has said that since her latest collection looks fierce, she wanted to contrast it with Bambi’s innocence. The ad campaign will be out in September 2009 in British, French and American Vogue.
