Sevendays
“A mix of art, fashion and music”, is how former DJ Roxy describes Sevendays, her latest foray into fashion. Located along Bangsar’s increasingly trendy strip, the Colette-inspired store retains a minimal ethos – with racks that are colour coordinated so it’s easy to browse – and stocks a selection of well chosen pieces for men and women that despite their timeless looks, you won’t have to flog a kidney for. In fact at prices like these, “You can experiment with different styles and colours … you can wear a dress on Mondays and skinny jeans on Tuesdays” beams Roxy, who’s ready to roll up her sleeves and muck right in.
In fact the sophisticated Sevendays owner relishes playing stylist, and quickly whips up a bright colored shiftdress, matching metallic pump heels (priced between RM39-RM169) and accessories (priced between RM29-RM180) for JUICE when asked. Don’t feel guilty about a little splurge however – the store supports it’s own “Fashion for a Cause” campaign, which sees where a portion of your purchase price going to a different charitable organisation each month.
It’s all part of a bigger plan – Roxy is expected to design her own collection and unveil her own label soon, plus for fans that miss her brand of music “you might see me behind the decks very soon,” she reveals.
