This year is going to be a big year for one of the world’s most understated yet recognisable sneaker brand, as Reebok celebrates the 20th anniversary of one of its most iconic shoes – the legendary Instapump Fury. Twenty-seven unique Instapump Fury collaborations have been delegated by the Reebok Certified Network – a global network of retailers, exclusively chosen by Reebok Classics for creative collaborations on key initiatives, in celebration of this memorable milestone, which will roll out every week over the SS14 months.
First off, we are proud to say that the first Pump Fury 20th Anniversary collaboration is with Malaysia’s own multi-label lifestyle store Crossover! The black camouflaged kicks pay homage to the persevering human spirit when faced with life’s many challenges. Representing the essence that is the Crossover spirit – which is a crossover between its punk rock inspired beginnings and its devil may care spirit – the Reebok x Crossover Instapump Fury is decked with tiger camouflaged prints in punk pink, a black colourway that illuminates under a UV reactive environment, with the numbers 5 and 14 in Arabic numerals on the tongue that symbolise the year Crossover was established and the present year.
