Aussie surfbrand Quiksilver has done it again, with their brand new fragrance for The Quiksilver man. Just who is he? He’s the guy that thrives on adrenaline, lives on the edge, never settles for the ordinary and with a sense of adventure that never quietens down. He’s a risk-taker, a go-getter, and always looks forward to new experiences. Without ever taking himself seriously. Did we just describe you, or someone you happen to know? Read on.
The surfhouse’s latest scent is masculine and encompasses everything the Quiksilver man stands for: boldness and an awareness and respect for the environment. Bottled in a stylishly streamlined flask, the bottle is kept minimalist and chic, so as to not overpower the purity of the sandalwood and musk. The Givaudan perfumer duo of Antoine Lie and Antoine Maisondieu have come up with a unique concoction that contrasts a sparkling citrus freshness, the aromatic power of thyme and eucalyptus and the salty, fresh burst of a marine accord with the undoubted masculinity of sandalwood and musk.
Keeping true to Quiksilver form, the fragrance is entirely environmentally-friendly, with its box made of recycled products right down to channelling the profits by sandalwood to the aboriginal culture and indigenous spiritual programs. What’s more is that for every tree that is lumbered, three trees are replanted in its place. Besides that, the fragrance is guaranteed to never have been tested on animals. Quiksilver EDT 100mL spray retails for RM198. Keep mom and mother nature happy by smelling fresh.
The range will be available beginning October 2008 at your nearest Quiksilver outlet. For more, email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
