Sneaker store Hanon tag teamed with Puma to rework two of its classic silhouettes; the XT2+ and the XS850. What for? For fun. Obviously. Both pairs were stripped of their styles to remove any thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) components and were replaced with premium materials such as a rich nubuck aka cowhide leather and pig suede. Yeah, the shoes are made from one of Babe‘s family members, so if the movie made you cry or the animal taints your beliefs, these shoes weren’t meant for you to walk in. The XS850 was inspired by Hanon’s earlier days of being a more skate-centric store; it features the ‘Flame n’ Bones’ print on the collar lining and footbed, and has a multiple shades of blue colourway. The idea behind XT2’s design is a combination of Scotland’s winter gloom and California’s sunshine warmth, hence the use of yellow and dark blue.

The ‘Adventurer Pack’ is available at Sole What The Gardens. The XS850 is priced at RM580 while the XT2 is RM540.
