Another collaborative capsule collection which sees PUMA’s most popular silhouettes — the Disc Blaze, Blaze of Glory, and the R698 — being reworked by A Bathing Ape, often abbreviated to BAPE. Wouldn’t it be interesting to see an actual bathing ape design a pair of sneakers? Moving along… These shoes have been given BAPE’s iconic camouflage treatment in a traditional olive green/brown colourway as well as in black/black and white/grey. The Disc Blaze is presumed to be a crowd favourite based on how well received BAPE’s first camo-printed sneaker was received by the Japanese brand’s diehard fans. However, the white/grey combination seems to be the most aesthetically pleasing to our eyes, at least. Branding can be seen throughout the sneakers in a subtle-non-gaudy manner but obvious enough to earn bragging rights.
