Puma Introduces the ‘After Hours Athlete’
Are you an after-hour athlete? Well, if you’re a top shooter in foosball, a master at darts, a ping pong sensation or a bowling wizard who is more likely to have 5am cab rides than 5am runs, then yes you are and Puma wants you!
This campaign shuns the serious nature of organized sports and pays homage to the champions of late night games at the bar. At the Puma Social website where users can share their competitive scoreboards, connect with other users and view party pictures and video from PUMA Social Clubs in cities around the world.
Offline, the Puma Social Club Tour will be launched throughout March and April 2011, traveling through several bars and clubs in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru and back to Kuala Lumpur.
Highlighting quirky interpretations of foosball, ping pong, darts and arcade games, the tour will kick off on 11 March 2011 at Palate Palette with performances by James Baum, Ze!, DJs Anowl and Hackeem Elektrischer.
Lucky winners will also be able to take home Puma apparel from the latest Social range. From Kuala Lumpur, the tour will then head on to Monkey Bar, Penang on 1 April 2011 and Roost Bistro, Johor Bahru on 8 April 2011 before making its way back to Kuala Lumpur for the grand finale, which will take place on 15 April 2011 at a soon-to-be-revealed location.
