From the fine English fragrance house founded as far back as 1870, come two new scents – one for the ladies and one for the guys – that are reminiscent of the wild British countryside and rocky shores.
Like the powerful swell breaking against the shoreline, the Blasted Heath EDP for men asserts a masculine character with an invigorating wave of aquatic freshness. The top notes are enriched with salty seaweed reminiscent of the oceanic spray, infused with the contrasting intense aroma of clary sage. The heart note is where the fragrance meets the shore; fresh with crunchy green leaves, and refined with the surprising transparent woodiness of Clearwood.
Finally, the texture develops with tobacco and whisky accords, strengthened by an authoritative woody signature. The warmth of patchouli and Alaska Cedarwood blends into rough accents of Gaiacwood and the earthy elegance of vetiver, before musks bring the final ultimate sensuousness.
Blasted Bloom, on the other hand, illuminates the freshness of wild flora found along the dramatic British coast, capturing the free-spirited landscape\ where the energy and majesty of the sea meet the natural richness of the land.
The mineral purity of an aquatic accord meets the fruity sparkle of wild berries, and the sensation of hand-crushed green leaves. Wild floral heart notes of eglantine rose and hawthorn are tinted with pink pepper, alongside the whisper of Clearwood enveloped in balmy Cedarwood, upon a smooth bed of moss and musks.
The Penhaligon’s Blasted Heath and Blasted Bloom EDP retail at RM690 (50ml) and RM960 (100ml) each, and are available at Isetan KLCC.
