Since the ’90s, Dr Martens has based their American operations in Portland, Oregon, home to Pendleton, the state’s very own heritage brand with its own British connection. In the 1800s a young weaver from Yorkshire travelled to Oregon and became one of the founders of Oregon’s first woolen mills eventually the birth of the Pendleton brand. The collaboration brings together Pendleton’s exclusive woven Pagosa Springs jacquard on Dr Martens iconic Cherry Red and Black1460 8-hole boot and the classic DM satchels, also in Cherry Red and Black. Fun fact: The Pagosa Springs design was inspired by a legend of a plague that hit the Ute Indian Tribe.
