Nurita Harith
Â
Nurita Harith may be young but she comes with mad credentials. After pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Art & Design at Surrey Institute of Art in London she went on to participate in Project Runway Malaysia and then became stylist for Malaysia Tatler.
Her collections usually consist of soft layers, drapes, which can be simply described as flirty and femininity with an edge. Nurita Harith is mainly a ready-to-wear designer who has now has branched into custom-made designs as well. They’ve been so well received that she has become one of the designers selected for customising a patchwork for Kiehls’ World AIDS day 2009, customising a shirt for Thomas Pink’s ‘Peace Project’ in 2009 and also being chosen as one of the designers selected to style for ‘Barbie’s 50th anniversary’ with Jaspal.
Last year Nurita opened her own boutique in Bangsar and her label is also stocked in Blackmark boutique in Singapore.
