Parra
Parra’s first collaboration with the swoosh brand on the Nike Air Max ‘Amsterdam’ was attention grabbing. The 33-year-old artist from Netherlands is no stranger to bright, colourful and distinctive typography and his esoteric characters are playful, sarcastic and eccentric. He joins hands with Nike to to develop ‘The Lonely Under-achieving Loners’ line. Peep the wicked t-shirt, varsity bomber jacket and the Nike Air Maxim1+.
Cassette Playa
The designs of Cassette Playa aka Carri Mundae have been seen on the backs (and fronts) of artists like MIA, Klaxons and Dizzie Rascal, to name a few. Her nu-rave splash for Nike’s Holiday 2009 collection, marks Cassette Playa’s second Nike collabo, the first being the quickstrike Tier 0 Nike Blazer. Her ‘Fear No Evil’ theme will jolt you awake with its boldness and features on a t-shirt, Varsity Bomber jacket and a Nike Dunk High.
