Mulberry SS15 Collection

From the famous English gardens of Kew, Sissinghurst and Great Dixter comes perennial English flowers that are here to stay for the long haul in Mulberry’s latest collection.

Prettiness comes with an edge this season, as we see traditional garden borders brimming with British blooms are fused with practical pockets and utilitarian shapes, as well as laser-cut leather that contrasts with the delicacy of intricate prints. The delphinium flower appears as a grand monochromatic design on silk and lace, the cornflower on oversized silk knitwear and textured knits, and the cow parsley as embroidery and miniature jacquard – all in a dizzy colour palette of white and cream, with black and earthy khaki accents, and rich pops of Delphinium blue.

For accessories, the key piece is the Delphie Bag. Named after the delphinium, it’s inspired by the uniform structure of garden trellis, and the weaving methods of Mulberry legacy. An amusing and extremely functional piece, this is, with its woven leather style point, which reveals a contrasting leather and colour when flipped over, together with a circular push-lock seen on vintage Mulberry bags.

The Mulberry SS15 collection will be available at the Mulberry boutiques located at Pavilion KL and The Gardens.
