Check out the new EDT fragrance by Moschino. No, really!
Juxtaposed with the most mundane and commonplace of all products in the world, the household cleaner, the Moschino Fresh Couture is housed in an unexpected ‘cleaning bottle’ flacon that is both ironic and fun. Taking the iconography of a bottle that has no aspirational value (except the promise of a squeaky clean windowpane), and using it as the inspiration for a vessel to hold something so luxurious and haute couture, what can be more Moschino than creating the ultimate dichotomy of high and low?
Even the fragrance itself is a surprising and ironic perfume that plays with fresh and joyful accents with a hint of tempting femininity. The sparkling and compelling top notes of mandarin and bergamot are enriched with the intense and exotic character of ylang ylang. Whereas the juicy and inviting touch of raspberry adds to the colourful and amusing contrast of the floral heart notes – the elegant and velvety accords of white peony and osmanthus. Finally, the dry-down base notes feature the luminous and sensual trail of clear wood, white patchouli and ambrox.
