For This is Manchester, printed designs are inspired by musical expressions and social statements expressed by youth in the late 60sÂ to 80s and silhouettes, headphones and even Madonna and the Queen of England make a guest appearance on vintage washed tees.
For Culture Is Dead, Mooks goes to Sorbonne, Paris for inspiration taking their cues from the French youth movement of the late 60s. This was a period which students revolted against bourgeois culture and developed their own distinctive creative art scene like the French film movement La Nouvelle Vague, masquerades and Moulin Rouge.
