Each apparel for the Massimo Dutti SS16 collection is overflowing with style and brimming with expressiveness and trendiness.
The women’s line starts off with the ‘Industry’ Collection, featuring jackets with utilitarian front pockets and trousers with skinny cuts in comfortable tones of olive green, khaki, and petroleum blue. The ‘Atlas’ Collection follows up with ikat motifs, prints, and earthy colours, paired with leather accessories and esparto shoes, as well as mustard, burgundy, and natural hue prints.
The ‘Saint Malo’ Collection is a breath of fresh air with its cold blue and grey hues upon shirts that highlight the beginnings of a very important and well-worked part of the Dutti tailoring craft; while the ‘Asilah’ Collection keeps it refreshing with an Arabesque air seen in free-flowing shirts, long blazers, and reddish tones inspired by the Northern African fashion sphere.
Meanwhile, earthy shades, indigos, and beiges recall the wondrous decade of the ’50s in Cuba, the starring role for this season’s menswear line, with a wide range of neutral shades – clashing with colours of currant red or earth orange – upon structured cotton sweaters with leather details for an easygoing nuance.
Herringbone blazers in natural colours, ethnic trends, and striking usage of linen, alongside ethnic, geometric, and tribal prints (all under the influence of a certain vintage look), are occasionally combined with sporty accessories of glasses, satchel bags, and pocketbooks.
The Massimo Dutti SS16 collection is now available at all Massimo Dutti outlets nationwide, located at Pavilion KL, KLCC, One Utama, Mid Valley Mega Mall and Bangsar Village II.
