Major Drop Releases a Groundbreaking First Collaboration with Negative Clothing
When it comes to fashion collaborations, brands either go big or go home, right? Though only limited to just four pieces, Major Drop‘s capsule collection with Negative Clothing is anything but small. Together with Nigel Sparks of Negative Clothing, this debut collaboration is set to “prove ‘em wrong” one garment at a time – in the most vibrant bumble bee colour duo; black and yellow.
Despite the items being bright in colour palette, the capsule collection is minimal in aesthetic, something Negative Clothing prides themselves in. Consisting of a hoodie, cap, t-shirt, and baseball jersey, the unisex design can be dressed down or over, depending on your mood and vibe. CEO of Major Drop, Lim Fei Xiang, calls this collaboration a celebration of hard work, dedication, and craft.
“It’s the convergence of both our worlds. I’m excited to share this with you because it’s a testament to both teams’ efforts. For Major Drop, it was an idea that we’ve been toying for a long time,” says Fei.
“For me, when I see the collection, it’s more than just a cap or a hoodie, I see more than fashion and hype,” says Nigel L Sparks, Creative Director at Negative Clothing. “I strive to make people look better and with this capsule, we’re doing it Major.”
With vivid primary shades as one of today’s hottest trends that resurfaced from past eras, yellow is sure to catch the right amount attention wherever you go.
The Major Drop x Negative Clothing capsule collection will be available at all Major Drop outlets (Sunway Pyramid and Mid Valley) and online on 11 November. Drop by the Sunway branch this Saturday from 1pm to 2pm to enjoy 10% off the collection.
