Limited Edt decided to give ASICS’ Gel Lyte III — aka ASICS most popular silhouette — yet another limited edition design treatment. Yes, we made a joke and we think it’s funny. Singapore celebrated its 50th year of independence… from us this year, which was the biggest factor as to why the brand from the land of better currency decided to use the Singaporean orchid for its design. The shoe features a hybrid of two types of orchids; a reimagined blossom in a jacquard upper in lilac, the purple and pink shades and the black accents around the shoe’s lining help stabilise the loudness and bright pops of colour the shoe embodies.
