Levi’s® x JUICE Style Challenge with Third Culture

Thirsty for JUICE content? Quench your cravings on our Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp

Levi’s® Malaysia had approached several stylists such as Wee Chee, Ethan Chu, Min Luna, and more to offer style solutions to the Levi’s® 511™ and 711 – a campaign it’s currently working on. Each personality had to create a few looks according to differing themes like streetwear, military chic, and denim on denim – all of which can be viewed here. Now that these experienced fashion personalities had completed their tasks, Levi’s® has approached JUICE with a similar challenge, however, after acknowledging our lack of skill in this particular area, we shift the responsibility to the kids of Third Culture.

The rules we set for them are simple; Third Culture’s co-founder, Shaq, is known for being a hypebeast and putting together outfits that are “dad” appropriate, so, the challenge we bestow upon him is to not style his model like a hypebeast. The next one, Shaq’s right hand man Syafiq, is given the task of styling a girl — a skill he has yet to acquire since he (apparently) has problems speaking to people of the opposite gender.

They each have to style three distinctive looks using the Levi’s® 511™ PIP Pants in Needletrail Military Utility and the 711 Skinny Jeans in Simple Blue. Both manage to achieve their goals to the best of their capabilities – albeit Shaq didn’t quite manage to dodge the hypebeast imprinted bullet, but we’ll let it slide – with the help of homegrown brands Against LabPantun PinsStakes ShopShuren Projects, and Vestury.

Watch the video below to find out how Shaq and Syafiq prepared for their tasks and which pop culture icon they’d pick to represent the Levi’s 511™ and 711 jeans below:
