It’s a #ThrowbackThursday every season for Levi’s, as they take their signature pieces and reimagine them, honouring the spirit and renewing their love for detail and craftsmanship. This Fall ’14 season, Levi’s Icons revisits the 501 Jeans, Western Shirt, and Trucker Jacket, three style icons that have define the modern dress code as a symbol of individuality and universality.

Deemed the “Fashion Item of the 20th Century” by Time Magazine, the 501 Jeans, invented in 1873 is still the definitive classic till this day. The patented copper rivets go through another evolution with a new range of authentic, light to dark washes for the men, whereas for the ladies is a palette of white, authentic blues and charcoal colours with varied levels of distress — from true-blue washes to faded and torn-up finishing.

The hardworking classic Trucker Jacket is remastered this season in denim and non-denim fabrics. Inspired by the Yosemite Valley, the men’s Sherpa Trucker features a faux fur collar and water repellant corduroy fabric, and the women’s plays with proportion with the debut Fitted Cropped Trucker in special seasonal finishes like saturated overdyes and decorative repair elements.

Last but not least, the horseback casual to cowboy formal Western Shirt with the signature Western yoke and Sawtooth flap-pockets. For the guys, a taste of denim and chambray fabrics with authentic and statement finishes, grey and black overdyes and subtle prints. Colourways of chalky pastel of the Venice Beach surf culture, in ombre-pattern distress to saturated blacks and overdyes indigos, are a go-go for the ladies this season.

The Levi’s Icons for Fall ’14 collection is already available at all Levi’s stores nationwide.
