To commemorate World AIDS Day 2011, (Gap)Red teams up with French designer Isabel Marant to raise awareness of the growing HIV/AIDS epidemic.
Strictly limited edition, Isabel’s designs are featured on Gap’s classic boys oversized style heather grey v-neck tee. The playful blotches of paint paired with the tee’s slouchy silhouette represents Isabel’s understated style of her collection. Says Isabel “I am very thrilled that Gap has given me the opportunity to contribute to such an important cause. This is one of those rare occasions when fashion can do something to help make the world a slightly better place. I am more than honored to follow in the steps of the impressive collaborators who have worked on the RED project before me”.
50% of the profits from the sale of the tees will go to the Global Fund to help eliminate AIDS in Africa, so get your hands on a (Gap)Red tee to contribute. The tees will go on sale on Monday 28 November 2011 globally in Gap stores.
The Isabel Marant x (Gap)Red tee will be in Gap stores at the retail price of RM89. For more info, log on to www.facebook.com/gapmalaysia. To learn more about the fight against AIDS, head on over to www.theglobalfund.org
