While most Spring/Summer collections usually scream vibrant pop colours and SPRING BREAK! and BEACHWEAR!, H&M Studio takes it easy for theirs, with a mix of sun-kissed pastels, Miami pink and peach, pale denim, and summer white.
The womenswear collection brings in themes of draped pyjamas in masculine stripes with matching pants, wrap jackets in prints or shimmering brocade with fluid shorts. There is also a sportswear element at play here, on oversized sleeveless tennis shirt dress, and long tanks with a swimwear-like cutaway back. Not forgetting the warm and playful prints of flamingo birds on bandeau bikini, cactus print on kaftan, trompe l’oeil snakeskin on feminine shift dress.
Meanwhile for the men, there are fresh twists on the urban classics, where we see a half-lined blazer in memory-effect fabric, a metallic or linen bomber, and a lived-in leather biker jacket. A touch of futurism is seen on technical mesh upon the apple green zip-up bomber, whereas the scuba sweatshirt comes with a sci-fi imagery that’s a bit – spacey.
