H&M Conscious Exclusive Spring ’15 Collection
We have so much love for this season’s H&M Conscious Exclusive collection that’s even edgier, more elegant and made from more sustainable materials.
Global influences are felt throughout the individual pieces, from the rising sun in Japan to the summer dusk in Africa. Designs for the collection include one of hand-drawn birds on a photographic print of enlarged fish scales that decorate an organic linen and silk gown, made from recycled polyester tulle. An elegant sleeveless dress is draped and folded as of an origami, with a brush-stroked black and white print reminiscent of an abstracted landscape painting, which can be seen too on a reverse jacquard on a bomber jacket with threads left hanging intentionally like the back of a tapestry.
Besides that, there is an androgynous tuxedo jacket in 100% organic mulberry silk with an open seam cut on the side of the sleeves; a fitted black cocktail dress with a cutaway back, transparent panels and rows of African-inspired black sequins embellishments; and accessories made from black organic leather used for the strappy high-heeled sandals, white organic leather cuffs, and earrings made from recycled metal and sequins.
The H&M Conscious Exclusive Spring ’15 collection will be available at all H&M outlets worldwide on 16 April.
