Fred Perry Authentic x The Amy Winehouse Foundation SS16 Collection
Inspired by the original designs of the late Amy Winehouse from 2010, as well as a special commission of her personal tattooist Henry Hate, Fred Perry Authentic rolls out their SS16 collection for The Amy Winehouse Foundation with styles that are instantly recognisable like her dark-stained soul vocals, gritty lyrics, and biting wit.
This season, we see the second reissue of the Amy Winehouse Knitted dress and the Amy Winehouse Tipped, Knitted, and Bowling shirts. An uncompromising look that wears its heart on its sleeve, the heart embroidery has been added to these signature styles, which have taken inspiration from Amy’s traditional tattoos.
And speaking of tattoos, her personal tattooist, Henry Hate, has also created a piece of custom tattoo artwork to round up the collection this season. The iconic Fred Perry shirt style adapted by Amy and the red Gingham Bowling shirt carry the traditional swallow tattoos and the logo of the Foundation.
The Amy Winehouse Foundation strives to prevent the effects of drug and alcohol misuse on young people by offering support and information as well as inspiring disadvantage young people to help them in reaching their full potential in life.
The Fred Perry Authentic x The Amy Winehouse Foundation Spring/Summer ’16 collection is now available at the Fred Perry Authentic Shop located at KLCC.
