Menswear – Racket Resort
Like all its previous seasons, Fred Perry continues to use classic tennis silhouettes as a starting point for all its menswear. Combined with the bright and breezy inspiration from English seaside resorts, the season’s collection complements traditional marine styling with nautical elements such as flags, Breton stripes and Guernsey knits. Neutral colours of the navy are also spiced up with fashion brights such as orange amber, aster and canary yellow. It’s a look that is classic with modernity blazing through.
Womenswear – Seaside Cool
In line with the menswear, the ladies collection draws inspiration from the 1950’s English seaside to give us a clean, contemporary tomboy look that’s as fresh as a plunge off the pier. Featuring a washed out 50’s seaside palette of naturals, the collection incorporates nautical elements in terms of design and colour to present a look that is sophisticated and relaxed. Adding to the soft, laid back feel are the muted checks and liberty prints. The seaside never felt more cooler!
