The Sartorialist aka Scott Schuman is no stranger to the fashion world, and a household name amongst fashion enthusiasts. The style observer street fashion photographer has influenced many from designers to people of all walks of life. Vibing off some of that is DKNY Jeans, who take to the streets for their Spring 2009 ad campaign alongside The Sartorialist.

Framed with manipulated Polaroid edges, the images possess a literal and visceral connection the street style of New York City that Donna Karan embodies through Donna Karan DKNY Jeans. Those snapped for the campaign are a mixed bag of artists, musicians, models and stylish professionals such as rock and roll heir Sean Lennon, It Girl Daisy Lowe, the Box DJ DJ Coleman and model Chanel Iman among others.

Credits go to Tabitha Simmons for styling, Paul Hanlon for hair and Mark Carasquillo for make up. The campaign will run in countries such as US, Mexico, Canada, Asia, Turkey, Greece and the UK and will include print, outdoor, and online.
