Unless you’ve been in hiding the past few months in an underground bomb shelter waiting for the 2012 apocalypse, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that colour blocking is playing a huge role this season. Everyone is jumping on this Spring 2012 trend bandwagon – strong, bold colours are practically everywhere.

It isn’t hard to see why, colour blocking is such an easy wearable trend and Singaporean label Bysi is going full throttle this season. Give your tired wardrobe a pick-me-up with colours of pastel, orange, yellow and turquoise! Bysi’s Spring 2012 collection is divided to 2 key themes inspired by the 50s and 60s: peplums, slim jackets and knee length pencil skirts are a throwback to Jackie O’s 50s style elegance and are given the pop colour treatment of turqouise, powder blue and pastel hues while the label celebrates the 60s with their modern interpretation of the era’s “mod couture” by adding vivid colours to tailored and classic cuts, giving Bysi the freedom to experiment and put their own twist on this vintage 60s look.

Bysi is located at One Utama and Midvalley Megamall. Check out Bysi’s Spring 2012 Collection in our gallery! For more info, log on to www.facebook.com/bYSImalaysia
