Amy Winehouse X Fred Perry Spring Summer 2011
After successfully launching the first range last October, the Amy Winehouse and Fred Perry collaboration is back bigger and better. Doubled in size this season to include 32 pieces, the spring summer collection now includes bags, shoes and added accessories.
Reminding us of her style throughout and drawing inspiration from tiki culture, Amy Winehouse incorporated Hawaiian prints in classic Fred Perry pieces including the Harrington and the twin-tipped polo shirt. Key pieces of the collection include the Hawaiian print halter neck dress and short, cropped gingham playsuit, scarlet red hot pants and a black body con Fred Perry dress.
The collection also credits Fred Perry’s attention to details as coconut buttons adorn the product and Amy’s signature is stitched beneath the laurel. Completed by new accessories such as the Army barrel bag, scarves, belts and footwear, the collection depicts attitude with a tinge of summer quirkiness that is so Amy Winehouse.
