Just when we thought our days of fangirling over the Tubular Doom Primeknit last month were over, adidas hits us with its SS16 Tubular packs — we’re back to square one now. Firstly, let’s address the Tubular Defiant Colour Contrast; besides it being the most beautiful pair of shoes we’ve seen this week, it’s incredibly light, clean, and each shoe underwent a thick rubber treatment across the heel to create the stunning contrast. Then there’s the Tubular Viral Geometric — think of it as an upgraded form of adidas Originals. It’s made with both synthetic and natural materials to give the wearer comfort like no other; the upper is inspired by the Tubulars from ’93. This model is available in two basic colourways, chalk white and core black — ideal for minimalists.
