Pharrell Williams’ fashion sense is synonymous with bold prints, bright hues, and hats that are big enough to carry a couple of kittens in them. It’s a rare sight to see the musician-producer in basic garments, so we wouldn’t expect anything less than vibrant to be translated into a clothing line that he’s got creative control over. In his 2016 collection for adidas Originals, the apparels seem to have a prominent bohemian vibe to them with flowers, peace symbols, and wordings that have a relation to spirituality (i.e. “You’re awake”) printed across them. The shoes are a lot subtler – this collection offers two silhouettes in shades of what look like a faded blue and black. Surprising, as we anticipated them to be a slightly upgraded version of the previous sneakers he produced, but these might work a little better than the neon pink ones.
