If they were good enough for the French foreign legion and their campaigns across North Africa and the Atlas Mountains, then they’re good enough for your feet and street. This month, Showroom mixes style with durability and throws the spotlight on the Stussy Deluxe x Palladium.
Refined streetwear brand Stussy Deluxe partnered with iconic Pampa-boot creator Palladium for a special footwear collab recently. The popular Pampa Mid was reduced by an inch in height to create a casual mid-boot that mixes the 60-year heritage of Palladium with the laidback aesthetic of California-based Stussy.
Although comparing Stussy Deluxe with Palladium is like putting b-boys up against trained Marines in a cage match, both brands share a strong foundation in classic sportswear and military inspiration, and are deeply respected for their heritage.
Stussy’s version of the Pampa includes waxed canvas on the upper and premium grade suede to the eyelet stay, counter and tongue. Palladium’s circle logo is on the medial side in embossed suede. Other new features include a new heel loop, 2 sets of laces, a leather-covered PU sock liner and full leather lining. Now with these mean kicks on, no one can say you have cold feet!
