Based on the Chinese zodiac, 2018 is the Year of the Dog. Although each of the 12 animals gets an outing every dozen years, there are different varieties – and 2018 will be the first year of the Earth Dog since 1958. We here in Malaysia have a love-hate relationship with dogs and Tarik Jeans is here to break the stigma.
Cultivating a healthy denim scene in our community with their their tongue-in-cheek design philosophy that often touches sensitive or taboo issues, the boys at Tarik Jeans continue to provoke with their CNY limited edition Year Of The Dog t-shirts.
Intended to de-stigmatise the touching of dogs – remember the whole issue of girls in hijab touching dogs and getting scorned online for it? – the designs advocate love and compassion towards animals.
Tarik has come up with three design in total: ANJING (DOG), MATRIX LOGO TEE and MAMAK SALMON.
