Bremont ZT Series: ALT1-ZT/51
Designed with aviators and world travellers in mind, legibility was an absolute essential when it comes to the aesthetic for Bremont’s Pre-Baselworld release.
Modelled after the sought-after Bremont P-51 limited edition, the ALT1-ZT/51 series adds a new dimension to the range, while at the same time integrating very important design cues from Bremont’s past.
Arguably the most handsome and practical GMT chronograph from Bremont, this updated model maintains the clean legible dial with its new applied and bespoke coloured Super-LumiNova index markers, while having moved the 24-hour function to the Roto-Click bi-directional inner rotating bezel for improved clarity. Greater detailing around the stepped sub-dials with micro lines on the ZT models has been made to give the dial more depth.
As with most core range Bremont pieces, the ALT1-ZT/51 has a specially treated 43mm stainless steel case made to an exceptional hardness of 2,000 Vickers, (seven times that of an average stainless steel watch case). The convex sapphire crystal is equally as hard, with nine layers of anti-reflective coating applied to both sides of the glass for increased legibility. Upon the dial is the GMT hand combined with chronograph functionality measuring seconds, minutes and hours – an ideal timepiece counterpart for constant travellers. Besides that, ‘ZT’ stands for ‘Zulu Time’, allowing the wearer to display local time together with the official world time standard.
