Dressing up for merry occasions can sometimes cause headaches thanks to the specific dress code that guests occasionally have to adhere to — favourite keywords being ‘red’, ‘sparkly/glitter’, or ‘formal casual’. The latter is not a thing, stop trying to make it happen. For this holiday season, JUICE partners with two of the biggest multinational fashion retail brands that many (including Beyoncé) are in a committed relationship with; Topshop and Topman.

The objective is to create six looks that are appropriate for a party setting, so we ransack the brands’ outlets in Pavilion for almost half a day to piece together apparels and colour schemes that wouldn’t make the models — Natalie Hussain and Kyren Thomas — look like walking Christmas trees (everyone knows one person who has tried to make the red and green combination work). Below are the end result of this project as well as information on the garments used.
