Music and dance clubhouse
Broadway Acres is located within the suburbs of Ara Damansara (near the Subang Airport). The first thing you’ll notice upon stepping into this 3-storey performance space/bar-lounge, jamming studio and dance studio is that the owner, David Lee, has a Michael Jackson fixation. As it turns out, David also managed MJ’s global merchandise range during the gloved one’s golden days.

The stage on the ground floor lounge can accommodate a full live band, with drums, amps and PA provided. A bar towards the back sells beer and soft drinks, while the interior is amply decorated with rock posters and canvas oil paintings of Elvis, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison. Broadway Acres is also the Asian licensee for Celebriducks, which are rubber ducks mould after famous celebrities such as KISS, James Brown and The Blues Brothers. Next up, Malaysia’s own Lefthanded guitarist virtuoso, Man Kidal!

Clientele Musicians, dancers and people who enjoy live music.

Drinks Beer goes for about RM10.

Music policy Anything goes. Currently, a house band plays Latin music and jazz on Sundays. No live band on Mondays.

Dress code Casual.

Door policy Open to all.

Open Daily11am-2am.

Parking Free.

Rates Green Flame Studio (jamming studio) rates are RM30-90/hour. Blood On The Dancefloor (dance studio) hosts yoga classes at RM120 for 4 sessions, hip hop classes at RM100 for 4 sessions. It’s RM160 for 8 sessions, both. Students get 10% off on rates.
