Will Vivo Go Beyond Widescreen Smartphone with the New V7 & V7+?

Mobile technology is progressing at a rapid pace – smartphones have gone from 320×480 pixel resolution at 163 ppi in the first generation to a 16:9 screen ratio standard in full HD! Vivo, being a brand that bills its devices as built for the #PerfectSelfie, would only naturally follow suit in the race to offer all of you social influencer-in-progress millennials with the best phone display for the ‘Gram – as you can see from the teaser image below:

Reportedly, and as can be gleaned from the above, the new Vivo V7 & V7+ look to adopt the borderless screen design that’s becoming all the rage in the smartphone game. Or as the teaser videos below would dub the now-perennial bezel-less design, “FullView Display.”

With their official standing as the official smartphone of the forthcoming FIFA World Cup Russia 2018, an event that will undoubtedly have thousands of fans utilising their smartphone cameras to capture the moment, it only makes sense that these new phones will be the first to utilise a 24MP selfie camera. This effectively makes its previous editions’ 20MP front-facing camera obsolete. “See more than ever,” indeed.

Currently, exact specs and prices haven’t been revealed yet, but watch this space for updates.
