Thanks to three-week-long citywide festival Urbanscapes, Britons Clean Bandit are set to perform in Kuala Lumpur for their very first show in Malaysia. Despite being an electronic band, Grace Chatto, Jack Patterson, and Luke Patterson distinguish themselves from run-of-the-mill dance pop by incorporating classical influences into their music, frequently repurposing popular pieces by composers like Mozart and Shostakovich into something consumable by the masses. Local r’n’b producer-vocalist alextbh, whose Spotify plays had reached more than 1 million plays with no major label backing, is set to complement the show as its opening act.
