Ed Sheeran’s sold out show in Kuala Lumpur was an event that solidified the man’s talent to his Malaysian audience. Fresh out of a bicycle accident that left his arm injured, the UK singer-songwriter braved through a 2-hour performance that was steadily energetic – singing a fair amount of sweet love songs (‘Perfect), dance hits (‘Sing’), and even rap (‘You Need Me, I Don’t Need You’).

When the moment came for his hit ‘Thinking Out Loud’, the crowd cheered in excitement not just for Ed himself, but a man in a crowd who got onto his knee to propose, as shown in this video uploaded by Facebook user Ashley Ho.

For a moment, all the attention drifted from centre stage to the couple, who was situated at the right side of the fully-packed Axiata Arena. Though concert proposals are common, we can’t think of a more romantic setting than having Ed singing in the background. Biggest congratulations to the couple!
