Shop for Unique Indie Goods at Etsy Made Local Malaysia

Founded in 2009, Etsy Malaysia has been gathering local Etsy sellers to curate events where local handmakers are encouraged to not only promote their own craft, but also each other. The philosophy – which is to bring in the beauty of handmade products locally and internationally – comes to life from website to reality through Etsy Made Local Malaysia, where homegrown artisans will be present, as well as those from other areas of Southeast Asia and Australia for a one-day only market. So if you’ve always wanted to touch and feel the intricate work of your favourite merchants on Etsy, you might wanna pop over cause it’s going to be fantastic.

PAM Centre, this year’s venue for Etsy Made Local Malaysia.

To give you a taste of what’s to come, the market includes a list of local names like TinyPinc Miniatures, Lurveau Eyewear, Project Swissify, and Good Pair Socks, to name a few. Expected to be bigger than last year’s event at Battery Acid Club, this year’s venue is a landmark fixture of Bangsar, an architectural advancement centre built with the minimalistic practicality fit for Etsy. Not planning to shop? Then you can join in the community by volunteering with Etsy Malaysia on the day itself or help them snap photos.
