Shooting Outside Atria Shopping Mall

Multiple gunshots have heard outside Atria Shopping Mall and videos of the aftermath of the shooting are now circulating on social media.

In the video, what appears to be several plain clothes policemen are seen pointing their guns at 3 bodies on the ground. A gunshot is heard early in one of the videos while the other video shows more plain clothes cops inspecting a stationary car nearby.

According to The Star, Sharmila, a technology journalist, said she later saw two men – who look to be in their 30s to 40s – being handcuffed and led away by police. The news site also stated that Selangor CPO Comm Datuk Mazlan Mansor confirmed the incident.

A Twitter user also claimed that it was a robbery at Poh Kong Goldsmith (and that they should have picked a different target) but details have yet to be confirmed by the authorities. The incident is said to have happened around 5:30pm today.
