First it was the Yeezy’s that almost caused a riot during its release in Pavilion last November, now it’s a collaborative pair between adidas Originals and musician Pharrell called the NMD HU Trail that’s got sneaker enthusiasts talking. The sneaker pack – sold at RM1,150 for a pair – is released in limited quantities and the adidas Originals store in KLCC is one of the lucky few to release them.

In order to cop a pair, sneakerheads (and scalpers) camped out at the venue to make sure they don’t miss out. However, a fight broke out between two men as documented in the 50-second-long video below. What began as a heated argument led into a violent dispute, which shows a man in a cap punching another individual who was calmly explaining the first-come-first-serve rule.

The aggressor was apparently agitated by the other individual for not complying to him when he demanded that everyone queue in line according to his name list. The assault victim also suffered a broken nose after the incident – goes to show how crazy fanbases can get when they’re passionate about a product.
