Get Party Ready and You Might Score Yourself Some Goodies

Much has been said about driving under the influence, but no one does it like Heineken Malaysia – the brewery that’s done its part well to educate over eight million consumers through its Drink Sensibly campaign since 2014. Advocating the best party values around Malaysia, their recently-launched initiative fittingly titled ‘Get Party Ready’, is a continuation of responsible drinking, using the power of today’s most-used communication platform: social media.

Already a huge part of every millennial’s life, ‘Get Party Ready’ offers simple tips to sensible drinking which is to EAT, MOVE, HYDRATE, PACE and TAXI HOME. The ethos behind this initiative is to make “moderate and responsible consumption something aspirational”, according to Renuka Indrarajah, Corporate Affairs and Legal Director of Heineken Malaysia. Not all that difficult right? Given the commuting options we have now like car ride hailing services.

“When you drink sensibly you have a night to remember for all the right reasons, and also the opportunity to enjoy the day after,” says Indrarajah. With the help of social media influencers Dennis Yin, Dior Yaw, Brian See, Jestinna Kuan, and Karen Kho, the campaign fuses fashion, accessibility and alcohol (three of our favourite things) in the form of prizes worth RM40,000.

Until 7 January 2018, those who partake in the weekly interactive quizzes on the Drink Sensibly Facebook page will stand a chance to win a gift pack of RM100 vouchers from both Zalora and GRAB.
