Raising The Bar presents The Wanderess World Tour: Sevdaliza Live In KL on 27 March at The Bee, Publika.

Iranian-born, Netherlands-raised musician and artist Sevdaliza has lived many lives in her 30 years; political refugee, professional basketball player, master’s candidate, self-taught singer, and producer to name a few. Her atmospheric songs are hot houses of lush orchestration, glitchy subterranean trip hop beats, and pared-down RnB melodies with ambiguous lyrics that balance her vulnerable disclosures with poetic, sphinx-like mysteriousness. Basically, she’s a real life goddess of music. Ohm…

She debuted in 2014 with ‘Backseat Love’, a single that anchored The Suspended Kid, the first of two 4-track EPs released in 2015. A handful of tracks scattered across 2016 and early 2017 led to her latest album Ison.
