David Longstreth goes solo on the vocals after a breakup with Dirty Projectors member Amber Coffman, which brings us to their new single ‘Cool Your Heart’ from their latest self-titled album (due to release on Friday 24 February via Domino Records). The track is co-written by Longstreth and Solange with r’n’b vocals by D∆wn, its quirky upbeat tones provide a sense of wisdom attained from someone in the process of discovering himself. The video shows them walking forward and backward repetitively away from the car as if they were left stuck and replaying a moment in time before finally returning and driving away.
